This is a innovative process that we have been developing at the Center for Narrative Studies for the last three years, and we are still eager to learn what people learn from this way of listening. Hence, we are very appreciative of you coming back for a follow up session in 1-3 weeks after this session. That allows us to learn from you how you found the experience, and also to allow you to work any follow up story that the narrative room may have opened up for you.

Also, team members will often want to honor your time with them by writing you a personal note, witnessing to what they experienced in working with your story. This acknowledges that we are indeed privileged to be witnesses to a story that is important in your life. We are constantly aware of how this work enriches our own life and adds to the richness of our own evolving life stories.
